Veovo today announced a partnership with Overdrive, a Singapore-based IoT company specialising in real-time airside operations and operational intelligence to help airports improve safety, operational efficiency and resource utilisation through greater visibility and coordination across the airport.
The partnership brings together Veovo’s Intelligent Airport Platform with Overdrive’s Aviation Platform, combining airport-wide operational intelligence with real-time visibility of airside vehicles, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), non-motorised assets and aircraft movements.
Together, the two platforms provide a connected operational picture across both airside and terminal environments, helping airport teams make faster, more informed decisions.
Airports face increasing pressure to accommodate growth while maintaining high standards of safety, resilience and operational performance. At the same time, operational information across flights, passengers, resources, vehicles, assets and airfield activity often resides across multiple systems. Proven in complex airside operations
Overdrive’s Aviation Platform is deployed at Changi Airport, providing real-time visibility and operational intelligence across the airfield. It connects airside vehicles, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), non-motorised assets and aircraft activity, supporting safety and operational coordination through geofencing, alerts, runway monitoring, congestion analysis and roadway utilisation.
The partnership will enable airport teams to combine live information about vehicle movements, GSE activity, aircraft movements, airfield conditions and emerging congestion with Veovo’s wider flight, resource and terminal operational data. This helps teams identify potential constraints earlier, co-ordinate resources more effectively and understand the operational impact before issues escalate.
