The collaboration expands Veovo’s Intelligent Airport Platform with geospatial digital twin capabilities, strengthening Total Airport Management vision.

London, 17th March. Running a modern airport is, in many ways, an exercise in controlled chaos. Hundreds of aircraft, thousands of passengers, dozens of airside vehicles, all moving simultaneously across a footprint that can span several square kilometres. The question has never been whether airports have enough data. It’s whether they can see it clearly enough, fast enough, to act.

That’s the challenge Veovo and Emu Analytics are now tackling together.

Veovo today announced a partnership with Emu Analytics that brings together Veovo‘s Intelligent Airport Platform, the connective tissue for people flow and flight operational data, predictions and resourcing planning, with Emu’s real-time airfield operational visibility and alerting platform. The combination moves the industry closer to what it has long described as a true digital twin: a living, continuously updated representation of the airport that reflects what’s actually happening and predicted to happen on the ground, at any time.

A different kind of situational awareness

Airports are navigating rising traffic volumes, tighter resource constraints and mounting pressure to maintain predictable, high-performance operations. Against that backdrop, the ability to understand, not just monitor, an unfolding operational picture is becoming a competitive and safety-critical capability.

Emu’s platform renders airline, aircraft and vehicle movements, stand status, taxiway use, weather conditions and key performance indicators directly onto a dynamic geospatial map, with aircraft labels and operational context layered in. Teams can monitor the incoming aircraft, airfield and terminal in real time, or replay events exactly as they unfolded, giving them a forensic tool for understanding why a stand conflict occurred, where a delay originated, or how a resource decision cascaded downstream.

When used with the Veovo’s platform, that spatial layer transforms what operations teams can do with the predictions, constraints and flow data they already have. Instead of interpreting numbers on a screen, they can watch the airport move.

Visualisation dashboard with GSE/vehicle utilisation

The right information, seen, not just reported

Veovo has long been built around a single organising principle: getting the right information to the right people at exactly the right moment. The Emu partnership deepens that in a specific and meaningful way. Predictions and operational data are only as useful as a team’s ability to understand them quickly and act with confidence. Spatial context, seeing how a delayed inbound affects apron congestion and stand allocation, or how a weather event is reshaping taxiway flow, compresses the gap between information and decision.

For airport operations centres and collaborative decision-making teams spanning airside, terminal and AOC functions, that compression matters enormously. Together, the two platforms provide a unified visual source of truth, earlier identification of bottlenecks, and more precise resource coordination, core capabilities in Veovo’s Total Airport Management strategy.

“By combining Veovo‘s decision-intelligence platform with Emu’s real-time airfield operational dashboard and alerting capabilities, we’re giving operations teams a clearer, shared view of their environment,” said James WilliamsonVeovo CEO. One that connects predictions, constraints and real-time activity and underpins airports’ move to Total Airport Management.”

Richard Vilton, Emu Analytics CEO, added: “Operational data becomes most valuable when teams can explore it visually and in context. Our technology works hand-in-hand with Veovo’s operations platform to help airports understand how events on the ground relate to each other, supporting more resilient operations.”
