August 2026: YUL Montréal–Trudeau International Airport has gone live with a new Flight Information Display System (FIDS) from Veovo, modernising how flight information is managed, trusted and communicated across the airport.
The deployment introduces a modern operational platform designed to support a trusted operational picture and ensuring that information shown to passengers is responsive, relevant and aligned with live conditions on the day of operations.
A resilient, trusted operational backbone
Veovo’s platform acts as the airport’s operational authority for flight information, maintaining a single, trusted flight record for the airport teams and passengers to rely on. Data is integrated, validated, prioritised and synchronised as part of the platform itself, ensuring trust in what information to use is inherent rather than dependent on manual reconciliation.
Different teams see the information most relevant to their role, while all users and downstream systems remain aligned to the same up to date operational reality. The system is designed to remain stable and responsive under high operational load, supporting large volumes of updates throughout the day without compromising performance, a critical requirement in such a busy and rapidly changing airport environment.

That same live operational data now drives the airport’s new Flight Information Display System (FIDS).
Veovo Guest Engagement is designed to adapt to where passengers are in their journey and what information is most relevant in that location.
The FIDS system supports dynamic messaging, enabling disruption updates, wayfinding and service information to appear only where they are needed, and to update automatically as conditions change. Multilingual displays and targeted messaging and advertising allow content to be tailored to specific flights, gates or departure windows, helping passengers absorb information quickly and confidently.

The FIDS and underlying Airport Operational Database modules within the Veovo intelligent Airport Platform are designed for continuous low risk updates, avoiding the long upgrade cycles associated with traditional airport systems. While the current deployment focuses on passenger information, the new platform provides a scalable foundation for more connected, data driven airport operations over time. And as a phase two of the project, the airport is also rolling out Veovo’s tightly coupled Revenue Management system to ensure accurate and timely billing of their aeronautical charges.
