Gentrack, a leading provider of operational, revenue and passenger experience solutions for airports, is pleased to introduce Chris Warrington as Vice President of its Airports Division.
Taking a global leadership role, Warrington oversees Gentrack’s Airports Group, comprising the Airport 20/20 business and Gentrack’s two recent partial acquisitions Concessionaire Analyzer+ (CA+) based in Malta and BLIP Systems in Denmark.
Warrington brings an extensive leadership background to the Gentrack business, having spearheaded significant enterprise technology businesses in the US, including big data analytics company GeoDigital International and utilities solutions companies Ventyx (an ABB company), Hansen Technologies, First Data Corporation and PEACE Software.
“I’m excited to join Gentrack as it enters a new phase of growth in the global airports market. There is a significant wave of change and opportunity as airports fight for improved profitability and new and sustainable revenue streams. We’ve proven time after time that we can deliver innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of airports of all sizes, and I look forward to building on this success with our suite of world-class solutions and expertise.”
Ian Black, Gentrack’s Chief Executive, said the establishment of the new leadership role was a strategic move to optimise the potential of its airport solutions business.
“Chris brings extensive sales, project governance and organisation leadership experience to the business and will allow us to strengthen our market position and to capitalise on the momentum we have already seen from our 20/20, CA+ and BlipTrack solutions. Our recent acquisitions have taken the airports business to a new high in terms of the blue-chip airports using our solutions and the focus we need to position the business as a global leader in the airports market.”
“Veovo has allowed us to gain a good understanding of the security check-point dynamics, and most importantly, our customers benefit directly by getting a better service.”
“We are able to keep our passenger fully informed 24/7 about what to expect at security. Our aim is to make the experience as smooth as possible – Veovo helps us do that.”
“With Veovo, we can proactively manage passenger flow, and respond promptly and efficiently to irregular operations and disruptions.”
“Vital to our Master Plan programme is a deep understanding of airport capacity, bottlenecks and constraints, and Veovo is key to this.”
“Veovo allows us to provide customers with real-time information they need to plan their travels. Even more importantly, it provides us with data to focus on how to reduce wait times going forward.”
“Veovo has allowed us, together with our airport partners and stakeholders, to better manage operations, as well as improve the passenger experience by communicating expected wait times to passengers at processing points.”
“Veovo has dramatically improved our real-time operational decision-making, post-performance analysis, and capacity planning data analysis capabilities. But, perhaps, more importantly, it has helped us give our passengers a more positive airport experience.”
“Veovo gives us a clear picture of passenger movements, allowing us to provide the best customer service and proactively manage service levels before any issues arise.”
“Veovo enables us to monitor the quality of the terminal processes to improve resource planning, and to perform consistent reporting to internal and external stakeholders.”
